Where do I find the application on the phone?
After downloading and installing the application it can normally be found in one of the following areas: "Applications", "Installed", "My Own", "Java Applications. It would be a good idea to make Mobex1 a shortcut on your home screen for faster access.
What do the access numbers mean?
These access numbers are normally numbers that you have on a free per minute calling plan with your provider.
What does "included numbers" do?
This is like setting LCR (Least Cost Routing) in a phone system. e.g. You want to route only UK +44 calls via your phone system. Make an entry like this: #+44*#
The # is indicated as a start and end of field. The * is a wildcard.  To redirect all UK and Australia calls enter: #+44*#+61*#
What do the "excluded numbers" do?
This is like setting LCR (Least Cost Routing) in a phone system. The numbers and prefixes you define in this entry, means that Mobex1 will NOT route these calls to the phone system, they will be called directly. e.g. Voicemail, toll free numbers, numbers in a free calling group. e.g. Make an entry like this: #777#1300*# etc. All emergency numbers are hard coded into the application to be dialled directly. The # is indicated as a start and end of field. The * is a wildcard.
What does DTMF delay mean?
When the application calls the access number, the application will wait x seconds before continuing. Default is 2
What does the Access PIN mean?
Some phone systems can detect your caller ID and authorise you immediately, however other phone systems require a PIN number to grant the user access to dial out.
What does Trunk Access mean?
This is the code to get access to make an external/trunk call.
What is the Submit Code?
Some phone systems timeout after x seconds causing a delay in connecting the call. If your phone system accepts # to speed up end of dialling. If the phone system supports overlap on DISA just leave this blank.
What does show notification do?
If this is enabled the application pops up when establishing a call and receiving a call from the access number.
What is Call Hold DTMF?
If your phone system supports call hold enter the DTMF code here.
What is Call Resume DTMF?
If your phone system supports call resume enter the DTMF code here.
What is Call Transfer DTMF?
If your phone system supports call transfer enter the DTMF code here.
What does Custom DTMF do?
Here you can create up to six of your own service / feature codes of the phone system. These only appear whilst on an established call. If you require other service features, just use the mobile phones, phone book. e.g. To call your phone system voicemail, just enter the number in your phone book.
What does the Answer Code do?
This function is dependent on your PBX. Lets say your mobile phone is part of your company's sales group. When a customer calls the sales line all the phones in the sales group ring, however if your mobile is turned off then all these sales calls will immediately be answered by your mobile's voicemail service - which is a problem. To avoid this the PBX would confirm to ask you to answer the call and this is the code to use here. When you answer the phone Mobex1 will automatically send the answer code to accept the call.
Can I make private calls without the calls being redirected through the phone system?
Yes you can either insert your private numbers into the excluded numbers list or just exit the application. To make this easier put a short cut of the application on the home screen of the phone.
Why does the application not popup on incoming calls from the phone system?
To get the application to pop up on calls via the phone system, the caller ID of the office number must be listed in the Access numbers, or maybe the country code has been left out or included. It must be an exact match of the caller ID to the access numbers.
